Michael “Mike” Hale Hunter, 65, died Sept. 10, 2009 at the Ashton Nursing Home from Leukemia. Mike was born May 25, 1944 at St. Anthony, Idaho the son of Glen & Agnes Roberts Hunter. Mike grew up in the Rexburg area where he attended his schooling where he graduated from Madison High School. He served in the Idaho National Guard for six years. Mike lived for 15 years at Page Arizona working at Lake Powell Marina. He had a passion for boats and fishing. He had a little dog “Tillie” which was his special friend. He is survived by his mother Agnes of St. Anthony two children Paul & Angie Siblings, Kathleen (Roy) Springer, Hermiston, OR.; David Hunter, St. Anthony, ID.; and Don Hunter, Rexburg, ID. several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in l998. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Bidwell Funeral Home Rod Willmore, conducting. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and again Tuesday one hour prior to the Services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
